In the early summer of 2016, three real estate agents, Derek Andrews, Kyle Owens, and Tom Struckhoff met by working on the same deal together. They hit it off and learned that each of them had special skills in different areas of real estate. Then it dawned them- what if they formed a team that would allow their clients to receive expert service no matter what the situation might be?

The rest is history. They gathered up all of their resources to put together one of the most comprehensive and helpful real estate service in the industry. Terra Firma Realty continues to provide outstanding service to its clients before, during, and after the sale. Derek, Kyle, and Tom always go the extra mile for their clients and provide solutions real estate and non-real estate related.

    Tom Struckhoff
    Tom Struckhoff is an accomplished Los Angeles Area agent who brings a strategic yet personable approach to the buying and selling process. Tom has worked in every type of business environment from a Dow Jones 50 corporation to a Silicon Beach startup. Drawing from years of experience in sales and management, Tom has built a reputation for his friendly client care, proven ability to negotiate the best possible value whether representing seller or buyer, and assisting his customers until they have completed their transition to their new property. Living in various parts of Southern California for over 15 years has gifted Tom with extensive knowledge of the different cities and neighborhoods across the Greater Los Angeles and Orange County Areas. The types of sales Tom specializes in are single family homes, investment properties, multi-family, commercial-retail, mixed-use, hotels, development deals, and luxury estates.
  • Kyle Owens

    Kyle Owens
    Kyle Owens began his career at Gadish Properties in 2008 selling properties for several asset management companies including Wells Fargo, Countrywide, Bank of America, One West Bank, and many others. At KW Beverly Hills, he developed a working relationship with Fannie Mae and First Horizon Construction Lending to help recoup their losses and sell their non-performing assets. Handling high volume sales for large corporations has given Kyle experience that few Realtors possess. The high volume allowed him to become an expert in a variety of different sale types - from residential to commercial, developments, luxury properties, and bulk purchases. After the market shifted away from REO sales, Kyle began focusing on helping families sell inherited properties trough the probate system and helping clients regain financial independence by selling off real property through bankruptcy. Kyle works extensively with attorneys from all over the US who need help with the sale of properties in the Greater Los Angeles and San Francisco areas.

    Derek Andrews
    Derek Andrews is a Los Angeles native. His family owned a famous jazz nightclub where Derek learned about serving customers the way he would want to be served. Derek carried that attitude with him when he switched to the real estate industry back in 1994. Derek has sold over one thousand properties for a variety of clients – homeowners, banks, lawyers, investors, etc. His clients come back to him time and time again due to his diligent attention to detail and his warm personality. Derek likes to treat each client’s sale or purchase as if it were his own and makes sure no matter whom he is representing, that they are treated fairly and given the best possible deal. With so many transactions under his belt, Derek knows techniques in negotiating and contract writing that few Realtors are familiar with. He is also an investor and landlord himself and can provide firsthand experience to formulate a real estate solution for his clients. Therefore, Derek is an invaluable resource for what we do at Terra Firma Realty.
  • Cecilee Mathieson is a powerhouse when it comes to the world of business. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Montclair State University (ranked the #1 public university in New Jersey by Forbes). She has worked for over a decade in the entertainment, pharmaceutical, and finance industries working in a range of environments from Venture Capital funds, Hedge funds, and as Contract Management Specialist at a successful biopharmaceutical company. Cecilee prides herself in graduating from Montclair State University's intense School of Business, and has learned a great variety of essential skills. She is efficient in the management and preparation of correspondence and communications, as well as the in depth collection, analysis and integration of information. Cecilee also has proven success in the development and implementation of improved administrative and financial processes. With a great zest for life, Cecilee's warm and genuine character allows her to devote 100% of her energy to her clients in real estate. Cecilee is known for having a strong attention to detail along with an incredible work ethic that is like no other which gives her the ability to connect well with her clientele, providing them with the best possible service. She has a reputation as a self-directed worker who uses her initiative to get the job done with a top notch level of efficiency and excellence. In her spare time, Cecilee enjoys working out at the Santa Monica stairs, riding her bicycle, eating amazing food, and enjoying a nice glass of wine or cocktail in good company.
